Parent-first sorting via topological traversal ensures parent categories exist before children. Orphaned children are automatically re-parented when their parent is imported.

Import individual products selectively or your entire catalog in bulk. Handles stores with 6,000+ products through advanced pagination (70+ API calls). Enabled/disabled toggle for separate views. Installation
From install to first sync in four steps.
No complex configuration needed. The plugin auto-detects your server capabilities and optimizes batch sizes, delays, and timeouts automatically.

Install Plugin
Upload the ZIP file via Plugins → Add New in your WordPress admin panel. Alternatively, download and unzip, then upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/ via FTP.

Get Ecwid API Credentials
Log into your Ecwid Control Panel. Navigate to Apps → My Apps → API. Copy your Store ID (8-9 digits). Generate an API Token with permissions: Read catalog, Read store profile, Read products, Read categories.

Connect & Test
Go to E2W Sync → Settings in your WordPress admin. Enter your Store ID and API Token. Click Save Settings, then Test Connection. You'll see a visual confirmation showing your store profile if successful.

Run Your First Sync
Navigate to E2W Sync → Full Sync for a complete migration, or use Category Sync / Product Sync for targeted imports. The page will auto-load a preview. Click Start and monitor real-time progress. Smart Skip and self-healing batches handle the rest.
API Token Permissions
Your Ecwid API token needs these permissions. Both Public and Secret tokens work — what matters are the permissions.

Backup First
Always backup your WordPress database before running large sync operations. Use a database backup plugin or export via phpMyAdmin.
Categories Before Products
Run Category Sync first to establish proper taxonomy structure. Then run Product Sync — products will be assigned to the correct categories automatically.
Off-Peak Timing
Schedule large syncs during low-traffic periods. Image downloading is bandwidth-intensive and the server handles concurrent requests during sync.
Test on Staging
For large catalogs (1,000+ products), run the sync on a staging site first. Verify the results before running on production.
Enable Debug Logging
Set WP_DEBUG to true to see detailed logs of every skip decision, API call, and batch operation. Essential for troubleshooting.
Use Selective Sync
For testing or specific updates, use Product Sync's selective mode. Import individual products to verify mapping before running a bulk import.
Troubleshooting
Common issues and solutions.
Most issues are resolved by verifying API credentials and permissions. Here are the most common problems.
"Connection Failed" Error
1Verify Store ID is correct (should be 8-9 digits)
2Check API token has the required permissions (Read catalog, store profile, products, categories)
3Ensure your Ecwid store is active and accessible
4Test the API connection directly in the Ecwid admin panel
"HTTP 403" Error
1Most common cause: missing API permissions
2Go to Ecwid Dashboard → Apps → My Apps → API
3Create a new API token with all required Read permissions
4Update the token in plugin settings and re-test
"Memory Limit" Errors
1Increase PHP memory limit to 512MB+ (recommended)
2Use Category Sync separately before Product Sync
3The plugin auto-reduces batch size on low memory (<128MB free)
4Enable WP_DEBUG logging to identify the bottleneck
Products Not Appearing
1Check if products are enabled in Ecwid (disabled products import separately)
